PLOD — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

PLOD is a turn-based puzzle & strategy game. We keep data to a minimum. PLOD shows optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob — served non-personalized, with no advertising identifier collected — and contains no third-party analytics SDKs. See Advertising below.

Information the app handles

What we do not collect

We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or photos. We do not access your device's advertising identifier: on Android the app removes the advertising-ID permission, and on iOS we do not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt or use the IDFA — so the ads we show are non-personalized.

How we use the data

Where data is stored and who it is shared with

Advertising

PLOD offers optional rewarded ads — you can watch a short ad to refill puzzle hints. These are served by Google AdMob, Google's mobile advertising service.

Data retention

We keep gameplay and rating records while they remain useful for running leaderboards and improving the game. Your display name persists so it can appear on leaderboards; you can change it in the app at any time.

Your choices

You choose your display name — use a nickname, and you can change it at any time.

Children's privacy

PLOD is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; the data the app handles is anonymous gameplay data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change when we do, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
